We give thanks and praise to God for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has made it possible for us to be reconciled to God our Heavenly Father. It is by Faith and not works that we are saved. Even the mere fact that we can confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that he rose from the dead (Romans 10:9-10) is by God given revelation knowledge. When Simon Peter said to Jesus “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Matt. 16:16-17 NKJV)

In addition, those who receive Christ are given the right and therefore empowered to become or to develop the nature of children of God (John 1:12).

We can therefore conclude that God’s salvation plan is His supernatural work which we as human beings have no power to bring to fruition. He is indeed a gracious and merciful God.

Brethren, today let us reflect on the abundant love God has for us individually and the world that He sent our Messiah, Jesus (John 3:16).

May we live our lives not only in the full knowledge of His love for us but also partnering with Him for His love to be extended to others and for His plans and purposes to manifest fully on earth.
